Greetings to all! Once again MARIM has successfully past another milestone in risk and insurance management by promoting best practices through organizing structured seminars, workshops, talks and the annual conference. MARIM has remained relevant by offering a platform for risk and insurance managers to discuss matters of interest and continue to exchange views via networking.
Risk Management is "a journey not a destination". Risk changes constantly and relates to uncertainty and this affects everyone of us. However, thinking positively and mitigating the risk by focusing on the measurable, we can actually profit rather than loss. Managing risk is more critical than ever given the volatile times we are currently experiencing. The greatest risk of all is to take no risk at all. Without risk there is no advancement. The challenge for us all is to manage the risk so as to ensure a successful outcome (Anon).
