The Malaysian Asssociation of Risk and Insurance Management (MARIM) is proud to organize the 2009 Risk Management Conference. This Biannual Conference is an exclusive, educational forum that brings together local experts in the field of risk management and insurance as well as representatives from the academic, to jointly discuss the strategies for measuring and managing risk in their organizations, and this year, specifically gearing towards strengthening corporate resilient. The conference includes a combination of formal presentations, case studies, panel discussions and academic research presentation on topics such as business continuity management and corporate govermance.

Besides promoting education in the field of risk management, MARIM would like to reward its member for their hard works and initiatives carried out at their respective companies. Thus, this year, we organize a Gala Dinner in conjunction with the Risk Management Award of Excellence Ceremony. Not only that, we bring you to spectacular Genting Highlands for enjoyable learning moments.

Conference Objectives

The conference is to gather industry professionals from various economic sectors to :

• gain information on the current issues, challenges, best practices, and benchmark in enterprise risk management
• discuss the strategies in strengthening corporate resilience towards enterprise risk
